What is the Communications Bureau?
The Communications Bureau is a group of local speakers who serve to provide information on a variety of organizational and mental health topics.  The Bureau exists to help businesses, community groups, schools and nonprofits with presentation and professional development needs.

Goals
The Communications Bureau was designed as a learning resource to assist in the formation of strong organizations, to help educate the public and to demystify and destigmatize mental health issues. Some of our clients might include:

  • A local agency that needs a workshop on emergency management
  • A business interested in leadership development
  • A local PTSA looking for information on bullying
We can fulfill all these needs and more. Do you know an organization that would benefit from the Communications Bureau's services? Please have them contact the Office of Advancement at 818.654.1732.

Speakers
The Communications Bureau maintains lists of speakers and their specialities, degrees and licenses. Our speakers include:
  • Mental health and organizational professionals as well as interns and students supervised by Phillips Graduate Institute faculty
  • Experienced individuals who can address nearly any mental health or organizational topic
  • Bilingual experts who can address audiences in Spanish, or a combination of English and Spanish, as well as Persion, Russion, Armenian and other languages

We also have speakers available to serve as media resources for journalists in their area of expertise.
